Someone who really inspires me as an artist is Wes Anderson and his love for color and the unusual – which is why when I met Jordan at an Arkansas Bride party last summer and listened to her vision for her big day, I instantly knew that we would be a great match.
The goal in mind? In Jordans own words: Comfortable and easy, light and bright, and above all, authentic. This day was so intentionally curated and accomplished just that. From the moment I arrived that morning, there was such a calm atmosphere and a buzz of excitement as family and friends helped prepare The Chapel at Walnut Grove for the big moment of the day: the ceremony.
After a brief (but meaningful) ceremony, the guests filed out onto the lawn for snacks, drinks and conversation. Rick’s Bakery provided an incredible cake that was an immediate hit!
If you’re getting married soon and debating whether or not to rent a getaway car – let me just tell you, the answer is 1000% YES. NWA Roadsters provided the getaway car of Jordan and Gregs absolute dreams (and mine)! Doesn’t it look like it belongs in a 90’s romcom?!
And finally, one of my favorite parts of the whole day: the reception.
Jordan and Greg had originally planned to host the entire reception at the church; However, when Jordan reached out with an alternative option at the last minute, I was ecstatic to help make it happen. They wanted something laid back, something that felt more like “them,” and just felt right. With that in mind, the obvious next step was to crash the local Waffle House and not look back.
This April wedding will go down in the books of one of my favorite to ever have the privilege of documenting. Jordan and Greg are such genuine people and truly authentic to themselves in every way. I’m so excited to watch them go into this next season of marriage and I can’t wait to see what the Lord does in their life!
